My “Spring (is coming) Pineapple Juice”

I don’t want to jinx anything, but I’m pretty sure it’s Spring on the east coast. And it only took one sunny day for me to get my juicer out! I’ve been juicing for years; it’s one of my favorite healthy things to do. And I’m always finding new combinations that I’m claiming are my favorite. The one I made yesterday is no different.

I usually stick to making green juice, as a way to get all of my greens in at once, but I’ve been craving pineapple for a while. Plus I’ve been waiting for the weather to break for too long, and this juice felt like a small celebration. I’m not sure I’ve ever used Pineapple as the main base of my juice before, but I will from now on. It also got a ton of juice out of it, which is a serious plus.

My Spring Pineapple Juice

Cost = apx $5.75 (makes around 32 oz of juice!)

Ingredients –

  • 1 whole pineapple
  • 3 small oranges (tangelos or clementines) or 1 large orange
  • 1 mint twig (you can use the stem too)

This was pretty easy to juice, and made enough to fill up almost two of these smaller mason jars. I drank this juice in the park, watching a bird find a worm, and it was an overall great time. Hope you get that kind of entertainment when you make this juice.
