How to make a “Peachy Keen” Smoothie Bowl

I made a bowl for your hot girl summer! This smoothie bowl was easy to put together and ended up being one of the best tasting bowls I’ve had in a while. It’s sweet and peachy and delicious and if I could make one for the entire world I would. For the most part, all the smoothies bowls I’ve made have been good but I think this one stood out because It’s almost entirely made of fruit (yum 👅) and it was over 90 degrees in the house when I made it. So maybe it was the heat that made me forget to put anything green in it like I normally try to do. If I had to do this one again (which I definitely will) I would add a few pieces of frozen avocado. With so many sweet fruits in this smoothie, you wouldn’t even be able to tell there were avocados or any other vegetable in it. Next time!

Peachy Keen Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of frozen Peaches
  • 1/2 cup of frozen Nectarines
  • 1/2 cup of frozen Bananas
  • 1/2 cup of frozen Mangoes
  • Two juiced oranges
  • almond milk until it blends thoroughly but is still thick, which means I didn’t measure it. Don’t add it at first and then keep adding a little until your blender works… I’ll measure it next time.

*I use a grocery store bag of frozen mangoes but for everything else, I buy it as is and then cut it up and freeze it myself.

I sliced nectarines really thinly to place around the bowl, but they look pretty thick now that I’m looking at the picture. Anywhooooo, I topped it off with frozen raspberries, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flax seeds and sliced almonds. This bowl was fun to make because even though it looks a little intricate, it took no time to top off. So I wasn’t sprinting around trying to grab every topping I could find, and it was still super cold when I ate it. Yay me!
