Feel Better Smoothie Bowl

I made this bowl on a sunny day when I felt like I was failing at everything. It tasted good, but making it look pretty was the part that made me feel better. I had to go outside to steal flowers from my mom’s garden, and it instantly lightened my mood. It’s hard to sulk when you’re outside and it’s nice out. It’s like everything is working together to make you feel better. A few minutes with my feet in the grass and this smoothie bowl on my lap and I felt better in no time.


  • 3/4 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 cup nectarines
  • 1/2 cup mangoes
  • 1/2 cup bananas
  • 1 juiced orange
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk
  • (add water as needed so the blender works)

Help yourself by getting all of your toppings together before hand. Anything you want to put on top of your smoothie bowl needs to be out, sliced, and ready to grab. Time is not your friend when you want to be extra and make your smoothie bowl look nice. If you take too long you’ll end up with smoothie soup.

I topped this bowl off with the following

  • Pumpkin Seeds
  • Flax Seeds
  • Hemp Hearts
  • Almond slices
  • Banana slices
  • Granola
  • Coconut clusters
  • A flower I took from my mom’s garden (that I did not eat)

*When you put way too much flax seed on your smoothie bowl, cover it up with a leaf.
